How Dani's Fancy Fudge came to be

Dani’s Fancy Fudge started out as a Christmas gift for family members. I had never baked anything before so I thought what the heck, and…family members are going to LOVE this…Well, some yes, some no.  I kept making it for the next 13 years, and one day I decided to share this loveliness with the general public via a Sip and Stroll event in downtown Danville at a retailer I worked at.  We served about 150 people. Well, to my amazement, everyone loved it.  People told me that if my current job was not working out, I should look to sell this fudge.  That was when I first thought of selling this product.   Well, at  another Sip and Stroll we had an exclusive wine company whose rep tried the fudge and insisted that we pair the fudge with his Cabernet Sauvignon. Oh boy….quite delicious. It was a huge hit. That winery has now purchased 20 lbs. of the fudge. A winery of magnificent taste if I may. As a side note…Dani’s Fancy Fudge is named after my daughter Danielle, and the picture on the logo is her when she was around 8 years old as a flower girl at a wedding.  How pretty is she?  I am now selling the fudge not only on this site but also at the Farmers Market in Alamo at the North end of Alamo Plaza on Sundays from 9:00 to 2:00.  Please check back for more locations.  Hope to see you soon…!
